Around the Block

for the last year or so, I have found myself doing all my shoots in my studio, but it hasn’t always been that way. When I first picked up a camera about ten years ago, I was obsessed with street photography and capturing the things I saw in my every day life. As I have progressed in my career, I have found myself working on more styled and curated shoots that mostly take place in my studio.

My friend Mattey recently reached out to me and asked if I could help him shoot some content for a client he is styling for and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to get out of the studio and back to my roots. Mattey lives a couple blocks away from me and I thought it would be fun to find locations between his house and my house.

He was into the idea and styled it perfectly. Here are a few of the shots from that day:
