Ransom Supply

My good friend and frequent collaborator Ryan Ransom decided it was time to start his own brand. He wanted his brand to be aligned with nature and mental awareness and asked if I wanted to help him shoot the campaign for him. Of course I agreed.

Shooting a campaign during a pandemic and on a shoe string budget meant we had to get creative. We decided to turn this project into a much needed vacation and shoot in national parks across the country. We packed our bags and hit the road.

Colorado -> Utah -> Las Vegas -> San Diego -> Joshua Tree -> White Sands

Shooting in the parks presented a few challenges. The first one was to make these crowded parks look empty. To get the shots we wanted required patience. We had to get setup and wait for the perfect opportunity to snap the shot while there was no one else in the frame.

We also had to make sure we were taking care of ourselves and our equipment in the elements. There was water, difficult terrain, and extreme heat that needed to be accounted for. Not to mention keeping ourselves safe during a global pandemic.

Thanks to our pals that we met up with on the journey, and to AirBnb for the amazing places we stayed at. Here are a few images from the campaign. Check out his whole collection at Ransom.Supply
